Doctors: RSF Milia Bombs Residential Areas, Least 16 Civilians Injured

Khartoum- Sudanhorizon
The Sudanese Doctors Network on Wednesday reported that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia have targeted residential areas in Kadugli on Tuesday evening using drones.
The attack resulted in injuries of at least 16 civilians, including three children from the same family, and caused widespread property damage. The targeted areas included the Airport neighborhood, Hajar al-Mak neighborhood, and the Employees’ neighborhood.
The network condemned this direct targeting of residential areas as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, which prohibits attacks on civilians and civilian establishments. It emphasized that the continued drone attacks on populated areas since the lifting of the siege on the city are exacerbating the humanitarian catastrophe and further straining the already dire health sector.
The network called on the international community, the United Nations, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action to pressure the RSF to cease targeting civilians, ensure their protection, open safe corridors for the delivery of medical and relief aid, and document these violations and hold those responsible accountable under international law.
