US and Saudi Officials Hold “Productive Meeting” on Sudan

U.S Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs Massad Boulos, has announced that he held a “productive meeting” with high-level Saudi officials, focusing on the situation in Sudan and how to achieve a humanitarian ceasefire in the country.

In a tweet on his official X account, Boulos indicated that meeting brought together Saudi Defense Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Waleed Al-Khuraiji, and Political Advisor Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al-Farhan.

He said: “We focused on our joint efforts, alongside regional partners, to achieve a humanitarian ceasefire in Sudan. We also discussed how the US-Saudi partnership can enhance progress on regional issues.”
