Written Message from President Kiir to Sovereign Council Chairman, Al Burhan

The Chairman of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has received a written message from the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir , delivered by visiting Foreign Minister Mande Samaya Kaba, who arrived in Port Sudan, Saturday.

According to a press note from the Sovereign Council, the message deals with bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them in all fields and how to advance them further.

During the meeting, Al-Burhan affirmed the Sudan’s keenness to continue cooperation and close work with President Salva Kiir and his government to achieve the common interests of the two countries.

The meeting exchanged views on ways to strengthen and advance relations and joint cooperation in all fields between the two countries and in regional and international forums.

For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Sudan described his visit to Port Sudan as successful and fruitful.
