Turkish Ambassador Confirms Return of Mining Companies to Sudan

The Turkish Ambassador to Sudan, Fatih Yildiz, has confirmed that Turkish companies will return to work in Sudan, given the stability the country is witnessing and the recovery in the mining sector.

The diplomat has expressed his thanks and appreciation to the management of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company for its efforts in addressing the challenges facing investors.

The Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company LTD, Mohamed Tahir Omar, received the Turkish Ambassador to Sudan in his office at the company’s headquarters on Monday.

The meeting addressed the situation of the mining sector and the concerns of Turkish companies operating in the sector.

The Director affirmed the company’s commitment to create a favorable investment environment and removing all obstacles facing Turkish companies in the mining sector.

He commended the distinguished economic relations between the two countries and announced the company’s readiness to provide all necessary support that would encourage the return of Turkish investments to the mining sector.
