The Army Downs Drones Targeting Merowe Airport

The Sudanese Armed Forces’ ground anti-aircraft missiles on Wednesday repulsed a number of Rapid Support militia drones which were targeting Merowe locality.

According to a statement issued by the 19th Infantry Division in Merowe, the drones were specifically directed towards Merowe Airport. The statement confirmed SAF readiness to deal with any emergency or any foreign objects in the skies of Merowe locality and the northern state in general.
