The Armed Forces’ Spokesperson to “Sudanhorizon”: The War in Khartoum is Not Over Yet, and El Fasher is Under control”

Cairo – Sudanhorizon – Sabah Moussa
Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah, the official spokesperson for the Sudanese Armed Forces, confirmed that the war in Khartoum is not over yet and that El Fasher remains resilient against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
In an exclusive statement to Sudanhorizon news website, Abdullah stated that all potential threats in El Fasher are being continuously addressed to neutralize them. He added that with the efforts of the Sudanese forces, their strong will, and resilience—alongside the joint forces and the popular resistance—any attack by the RSF militia on the city would fail, God willing.
Meanwhile, the head of the Sudan Justice Alliance (Tis’a), Dr. Bahr Idris Abu Garda, made an open appeal to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, urging him to urgently travel to El Fasher and dedicate two days to personally overseeing leadership levels, preparing, and deploying three combat-ready military units from different axes without delay. He stressed the importance of not waiting for any unavailable resources within the set timeframe to lift the siege on El Fasher and liberate the rest of Darfur.
In the same context, Minister of Minerals Mohamed Bashir Abunamo stated two days ago that the actual war in the capital and Al-Jazira State has ended. He asserted that the remaining militia forces in these areas were no longer focused on fighting the army but were instead seeking an escape route to Darfur. He called on the military leadership, the joint forces, and the army to immediately push their striking force against them towards Darfur, emphasizing that the matter could not tolerate any further delay.
