A partnership agreement was signed Wednesday between Omdurman Hospital and the Qatar Red Crescent. The agreement was signed by Abdel Moneim Ali Al-Qasim, Director General of Omdurman Teaching Hospital, and Salah Al-Daak, Director of the Qatar Red Crescent office, to support and implement the ongoing free urological and gastrointestinal endoscopy surgery camp hosted by Omdurman Teaching Hospital.

The two sides said the signing of the agreement confirms the strategic partnership between the two parties in ensuring the success of the camp, which aims to perform 250 free surgeries. This will enhance joint efforts to provide specialized healthcare services to citizens and alleviate the suffering of patients.

Both parties emphasized that this partnership reflects the importance of cooperation between healthcare institutions and humanitarian organizations in supporting treatment initiatives and strengthening joint efforts to provide free medical services with a direct impact on patients.

The camp is being implemented under the auspices of the Qatar Red Crescent, in partnership with the Sudanese Doctors Association in Qatar and the Kuwaiti Patients’ Aid Fund. Omdurman Teaching Hospital continues to receive patients and perform surgeries according to the camp’s treatment program.
