Dar es Salaam – Sudanhorizon

The Sudanese youth team won its opening match in the East and Central Africa Championship (CECAFA), qualifying for the African Cup of Nations finals, against its Djiboutian counterpart by 3 goals to 1.

The match brought them together on Sunday evening at the Azam Stadium Complex in Dar es Salaam as part of the matches of the first group. The youth team’s first goal was scored early by Munther Tebo, with Djibouti then equalizing. Then Moussa Kante scored the second goal for Sudan, and Al-Othaimeen concluded with the third goal.

The Sudanese youth team presented a good-level match, claiming consistent possession, controlling the area of manoeuvring, and building attacks. Its offensive sorties posed a great danger to the opponent’s goal.
