Sudanese Prime Minister Arrives in Ankara for Official Visit

Prime Minister Kamil Idris arrived in Ankara, the Turkish capital, this evening at the head of a high-level ministerial delegation. He will hold a summit with the Turkish Vice President, followed by meetings of the Joint Economic Committee, co-chaired by the Ministers of Agriculture of both countries. This visit is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen foreign relations with friendly and brotherly nations in the regional and international arenas.

The Prime Minister and his delegation were received by senior Turkish government officials, the Sudanese Ambassador to Turkey, and members of the diplomatic mission.

The Prime Minister is accompanied in this visit by the Ministers of Finance, Agriculture and Irrigation, Minerals, and Energy, as well as the Prime Minister’s Special Representative, Dr. Al-Hussein Al-Khalifa Al-Siddiq Al-Hafyan, and the Prime Minister’s Advisor, Nizar Abdullah.
