Sudanese-Pakistani Cooperation in Health and Pharmaceutical Fields

Sudan and Pakistan have affirmed their keenness to strengthen relations between the two countries and push them forward, especially in the health, humanitarian and pharmaceutical industries.
A joint meeting, held on Sunday in Port Sudan, which included the Sudanese Minister of Health, Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, the Pakistani Ambassador to Sudan, Atef Sharif, and the Director of the Pakistani Service Organization, with the participation of leaders from the ministry, according to a bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health, common issues in the fields of pharmaceutical industries were discussed and coordination in the fields of training human cadres and opportunities to rehabilitate what was destroyed by the war by building hospitals and specialized centers.
The Pakistani Ambassador to Sudan, Atef Sharif, affirmed his country’s readiness to provide the assistance needed by the Federal Ministry of Health to overcome the crisis and establish peace, security and stability in all parts of Sudan.
