Sudanese Defense Minister Arrives in Baku for ADEX Exhibition

Sudanese Defense Minister Lieutenant General Hassan Daoud Kabroun and his accompanying delegation arrived in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, on Tuesday. The official visit follows an invitation from his Azerbaijani counterpart to attend and participate in the ADEX defense industry exhibition, as well as to discuss ways to strengthen and expand military and joint cooperation between the two nations.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Minister is scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with defense ministers from friendly and allied nations participating in the event, according to a press release issued by the Sudan embassy in Azerbaijan.

The Minister was received at Baku Airport by General Hasanov—representing the Azerbaijani Defense Minister—and the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Azerbaijan, Anas Al-Tayeb Al-Jilani, alongside members of the diplomatic mission in Baku.
