Sudanese Customs Authority and Agricultural Bank Discusses Strengthening Coordination

The Director General of the Sudanese Customs Authority Forces, Lieutenant General Salah Ahmed Ibrahim, received the Director General of the Sudanese Agricultural Bank, Salah Mohamed Abdel Rahim, at his office at the Customs Forces headquarters in Khartoum on Tuesday..
The meeting, attended by several Agricultural Bank leaders, discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and build a partnership that contributes to supporting the national economy and strengthening integration between the two institutions.
The Director General of the Customs Forces emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation with the Agricultural Bank, praising its pivotal role in financing the agricultural sector and supporting productive activities, which he described as a cornerstone of the national economy. He explained that the Customs Forces look forward to establishing an effective partnership that achieves shared national interests and contributes to supporting the state’s efforts to promote economic development and increase production.
For his part, the Director General of the Sudanese Agricultural Bank commended the national role played by the Customs Forces in protecting the national economy, combating smuggling, and ensuring public safety, in addition to their contribution to bolstering public revenues. He emphasized that cooperation with Customs represents a promising strategic partnership based on shared interests and opens broader horizons for coordination and collaboration in areas of mutual concern.
