Video footage seen by the editor of the Sudanhorizon news website showed the forces taking control of the presidency of Umm Al-Qura locality in Al-Gezira State, amid enthusiastic chants for Kikil and the Sudanese army soldiers celebrating the victory.
In the Sennar State axis, the Sudanese army forces, the Counter-Terrorism Authority of the General Intelligence Service, the Special Support Groups, and the mobilized took control of the sugar factory and the surrounding villages.
In the North Kordofan State axis, the army forces imposed a siege on the city of Umm Rawaba after taking control of several areas around it.
In Khartoum Bahri, the Sudanese army forces advanced towards the Shambat area amid the collapse of the Rapid Support Militia.
Field sources who spoke to Sudanhorizon expected that the coming days would witness major changes in the course of military operations on all fronts.
