Sudanese Army: Bara City Liberated, Militias Chased Away

El Fasher – Sudanhorizon
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Joint Force on Thursday announced the liberation of the city of Bara, North Kordofan state, from the hands of the Rapid Support Forces militia (RSF).
A statement by the Army Spokesperson’s office said the army troops entred the city of Bara “by force, determination, and power, and cleaned the city from the filth of the thugs.”
The statement affirmed that SAF and allied forces will continue with determination and certainty on the path to victory, step by step and stage by stage, until the entire country is cleansed of the filth of the militia, mercenaries, and agents.
For its part, the Joint Force reported that, in coordination with the Armed Forces, the Popular Resistance, the Sudan Shield Forces, and the Baraa Bin Malik Forces, it was able to liberate the city of Bara from the criminal militia and its mercenaries.
In a press statement received by Sudanhorizon, the official spokesman for the Joint Force, Colonel Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, announced the good news to the Sudanese people regarding the complete liberation of the city of Bara.
He pointed out that this came following fierce battles in its outskirts, during which the valiant forces succeeded in breaking the enemy’s back and completely destroying RSF Group No. (449) , who scattered leaving behind dead, wounded, and large quantities of destroyed equipment.
The joint statement indicated that this victory adds to the series of successive victories of the people and their forces, and confirms that there is no place for militias on Sudanese soil.
In its statement, the Joint Force warned the remnants of the militias against continuing, warning that their fate, like that of their predecessors, would be defeat and conquest. The road to El Fasher has become clearer, it stressed.
