Sudan: Inflation Rate Declines to 74% in November

Sudan’s inflation rate declined to 74% during the month of November, compared to 77.40% recorded in the previous month of October.

A statement issued by the Central Bureau of Statistics on Thursday said that “the rate of change in the general price level – inflation – in October 2025 increased by 74.02% compared to the same period of the previous year.”

The statement noted that the inflation rate in urban areas declined in November to 80.61%, compared to 83.37% recorded in the preceding month, while inflation in rural areas reached 71.16% in November, down from 74.76% recorded in October.

Annual inflation is measured by the change in the general price level of the current month compared to the same month of the previous year.
