Sudan Denounces UAE’s Accusation Against the Army

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denounced what it described as the false allegations made by the UAE Foreign Ministry that claimed the bombing of its ambassador’s residence in Khartoum by the Sudanese Armed Forces, an accusation the army had vehemently rejected.
The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed in a statement issued on Monday that all laws and regulations give the national army the full right to carry out its duty in protecting the country, its people, and its sovereignty against all aggression, to stand in the face of mercenaries and terrorists wherever they are, and to be fully committed to international law.
The Ministry has described these UAE accusations as false allegations and said that they stand out as miserable attempts by the UAE to cover up documented international reports exposing its evil role in encouraging and fuelling the war in Sudan and the UAE’s direct responsibility for the atrocities committed by its stooges, the terrorist RSF militia, including crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, genocide, sexual violence, and enslavement of women and children.
The statement pointed out that international investigative reports have recently documented in detail and figures that the UAE’s arms supplies to the militia and the hundreds of thousands of mercenaries secured by the UAE are the primary impetus for the continuation of the war and its subsequent atrocities and the resulting human suffering in Sudan.
The statement indicated that “it is ridiculous for the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to talk about rejecting terrorism and adhering to international law while its sponsored militia embodies the worst known terror groups. The UAE and the militia it sponsors violate fundamental rules of international law.”
