Sudan Condemns Aggression Against Qatar

The Sudanese government has strongly condemned the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar, which targeted a meeting of leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) inside the country.
The Chairman of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has conveyed to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during a phone call on Tuesday evening, the solidarity of the Sudanese government and people with Qatar against this aggression.
In a statement, both the Sovereign Council and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli attack, considering it a violation of international laws and norms and a blatant violation of Qatar’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty. Furthermore.
The statement stressed that this attack undermines ongoing efforts to achieve security and stability in the region.
The government of the Sudan affirmed its full solidarity with the government and people of Qatar, praying for peace, security, and tranquility for its people.
It also expressed its hope that the international community would fulfill its responsibilities by condemning such brutal attacks and taking the necessary measures to stop them.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry condemned, in a statement on the X platform, “the criminal attack, a violation of all international laws and a serious threat to the security and safety of Qataris and residents.” It added, “The State of Qatar strongly condemns this attack and affirms that it will not tolerate this reckless Israeli behavior,” adding that it “will not tolerate any action targeting its security and sovereignty.” It explained that “investigations are underway at the highest level, and further details will be announced as soon as they become available.”
The Israeli army announced that it targeted the Hamas leadership in the Qatari capital, Doha, while a leading source in the movement confirmed to Al Jezeera that Israel targeted the HAMAS negotiating delegation while it was meeting in Doha to discuss US President Donald Trump’s proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Media sources reported that HAMAS leadership delegation survived the incident, but several members of the family of the head of the HAMAS delegation, Khalil al-Hayya, and his office director were killed in the attack.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry said that the Israeli attack resulted in the martyrdom of Corporal Badr Saad Mohammed Al-Humaidi Al-Dosari, a member of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), while he was performing his duties at the targeted site, in addition to a number of injuries among security personnel.
