Sudan and Qatar Agree to Exchange Official Visits at High Levels

Sudan and Qatar have agreed to further develop bilateral relations and exchange high-level bilateral visits to increase consultations and improve coordination at the leadership levels.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Ali Youssef, who received on Thursday in Port Sudan the ambassador of the state of Qatar to Sudan, Mohamed Bin Ibrahim Al-Sadat, said Sudan values the brotherly positions adopted by the state of Qatar towards Sudan and commended its strong and supportive stands with Sudan during the current crisis the country is witnessing.
He also commended Qatar’s continued humanitarian assistance to the Sudanese people since the outbreak of the war.
For his part, the Qatari ambassador to Sudan has expressed his country’s appreciation for the people and government of Sudan and renewed his government’s supportive stands towards Sudan, which emanates from the profound brotherhood that links the two sister peoples.
