Sovereign Council President Holds Talks with Saudi Crown Prince in Mecca

The President of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereign Council, Gen Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, held talks in Mecca on Friday with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
The official talks focused on promoting and developing Sudanese-Saudi relations and strengthening prospects for joint cooperation, serving the interests of the two sisterly peoples.
Gen Burhan briefed the Saudi Crown Prince on recent developments in Sudan, particularly after the latest victories scored by Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) within the Operation Dignity War.
Sudan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Dafallah Al-Haj Ali, told the press following the talks that Sudan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to establish a joint coordination council to strengthen their relations and advance joint cooperation.
Ambassador Dafallah added that this council will contribute to strengthening and promoting relations between the two countries and advancing prospects for joint cooperation in various fields.
Al-Burhan arrived today (Friday) in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on a fraternal visit that reflects the strength and solidity of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Upon arrival, Al-Burhan headed to Mecca, where he was received at the Royal Palace in Mecca by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
