Sovereign Council Congratulates National Football Team

The Chairman of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, congratulated the national football team on qualifying for the semi-finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Lieutenant General Al-Burhan said he was pleased to extend his warmest congratulations and sincere felicitations to the national football team on their well-deserved qualification for the African Championship.
He explained that this great achievement embodies the spirit of determination and perseverance and reflects the strong will of Sudanese youth to raise the nation’s flag high in regional and international forums.
The Chairman of the Sovereign Council affirmed his full support for sports and athletes, wishing the team further victories leading up to the African Championship.
