“Save your aid… the dead do not eat!”
Dr. Muzammil Abu Al-Qasim
Only now… will the international community, the World Food Programme, other UN agencies and donors allow humanitarian aid into stricken Al-Fashir!
Their reeking lorries will reach El-Fasher, the city of the Sultan and the Qur’an, after it is too late—after hoodlums have overrun it, its districts, streets and facilities stripped of life, strewn with bodies, and its pure soil drenched with the blood of thousands of innocent, unarmed civilians.
The trucks will arrive only for the criminals to seize them and the killers to enjoy them—because those unjustly slain by tyranny (and they are in their thousands) neither eat nor seek treatment.
Only now will they permit their paltry, pitiful convoys to enter the city whose invaders were stripped of all human decency, executing children, women and the elderly in cold blood, spilling innocent blood until the land was soaked with it.
Only now will food and medicine be available to people whom merciless hunger and a suffocating siege had driven to eat oil-cake and the hides of dead animals for more than 500 days.
Food and medicine will come after they have stopped asking for them, when they no longer need them. Those convoys will find the hallowed ground stained red, walls collapsed, hospitals destroyed, houses of worship shattered, and homes, schools, universities and mosques desolate—Al-Fashir’s good earth grieving, bearing witness to the scale of the savagery and cruelty perpetrated by the terrorist militia—killing, dragging, terrorising, looting and plundering.
Those convoys will stand as witnesses before history to the depth of the conspiracy visited upon the gentle people of Al-Fashir for nearly two years—shells and fire raining down upon their heads, zawiyas bombed, shelters, hospitals, clinics, service centres, markets and state institutions destroyed, worshippers torn to shreds while prostrate to their Lord.
The recalcitrant convoys will pass along shattered roads, crushed neighbourhoods and abandoned homes in a once-gentle, peaceful city—where Colombian mercenaries and their accomplices (of every stripe) killed hundreds, and where the depraved, brutal aggressor “Abu Lulou” and his fellow murderers executed thousands.
The thugs spared neither elder, nor woman, nor child; they observed neither bond nor covenant as they gunned them down laughing—brandishing their mobile phones to film their abominable crimes, boasting and vaunting deeds from which even devils seek refuge.
We say to the programme of “stupidity” and global collusion: Al-Fashir no longer needs your convoys and lorries, because they have arrived after the appointed time—because you refused entry when women, children and the elderly had empty, rumbling stomachs and begged a morsel to fight the godless hunger imposed by the criminal Emirati militia of murder and terror.
The Daqlo militia and its patron did not triumph in the Sultan’s Al-Fashir, as their criminal mouthpieces prattle; rather, they—and their sponsor—suffered a crushing defeat as their brutality was exposed before the whole world, just as the international community and donors were unmasked for conspiring against the millions of Al-Fashir’s afflicted—thereby becoming partners with the militia and its sponsor in the crime of the age and the shame of modern history.
Save your cheap, stinking aid… the people of Al-Fasher no longer need it. It will return to you, trailed by curses, crowned with a stain that will not be erased and a crime that shall not lapse with time.
It will return to you with its filthy tyres red, drenched in the scarlet blood of thousands of martyrs who waited long for you, but you came only after their city was violated, their homes destroyed, their blood spilt, and their souls taken. Blessed are they; shame upon you—upon your limping justice and your defective humanity. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
