SAF Deny Any link to Tina, Chad, Attack

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) denied any involvement in the drone attack on the Chadian city of Tina.
A statement issued by the official spokesperson for the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) said they have been monitoring “the targeting of a gathering of citizens in the Tina area of the Republic of Chad by a drone belonging to the terrorist militia of the Dagalo family, which resulted in the killing of a number of innocent civilians.”
The statement added that this incident comes “within the framework of a recurring pattern of targeting civilians in Tina, Chad, and Sudan, from December 25, 2025, to March 18, 2026, in flagrant violation of international laws and humanitarian norms.”
The Sudanese Armed Forces reiterated their “condemnation and denunciation of such criminal acts and affirmed their commitment to protecting civilians and working with neighboring countries to maintain the security and stability of the region.”
SAF also offered sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of the Republic of Chad, affirming full solidarity with them in this tragic loss.
