RSF Militia Drones Targeting Merowe Dam Intercepted

A statement issued by the 19th Infantry Division (Merowe) said that the division’s ground defenses were able to shoot down a number of drones launched by the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia this morning (Saturday), targeting the division’s command headquarters.
The statement affirmed that SAF is prepared to confront threats targeting the Northern State.
It added: “Repeated attempts to target civilian infrastructure will not succeed in achieving their objectives, and the army continues to protect its headquarters and secure strategic areas.”
The anti-aircraft guns in the Merowe locality had previously intercepted six attempts to target the Merowe Dam, the command of the (19) Division, and Merowe Airport.
