Prime Minister Extends Eid Greetings to Displaced People in Port Sudan

The Transitional Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil El-Tayeb Idris, accompanied by the Red Sea State Governor, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour, visited displacement shelters in Port Sudan this morning (Friday), on the first day of Eid al-Adha, and extended holiday greetings to displaced citizens.
The Prime Minister emphasized the state’s commitment to addressing the concerns of citizens displaced by the attacks of the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on villages and towns. He noted that the Sudanese Armed Forces and allied troops are working to liberate and secure all Sudanese territories, thereby facilitating the safe return of citizens to their homes.
During the visit, the Prime Minister listened to the displaced people’s grievances and assessed their conditions, pledging greater attention and efforts to ensure they can live with dignity until they can return home safely.
Displaced citizens at the shelters expressed hope that the Transitional Prime Minister would succeed in his duties and achieve urgent national priorities, particularly restoring stability, strengthening the economy, advancing the state, and preserving its sovereignty. They welcomed the Prime Minister’s visit, stating that it reflects the state’s care for its citizens.
