Preliminary Squad Announced for Sudan’s AFCON Qualifiers Against Ethiopia and Mozambique

The technical staff of the Sudanese senior national football team announced the preliminary squad on Wednesday, in preparation for matches against Ethiopia and Mozambique on September 25 and 29. These fixtures are part of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 33-man roster includes established veterans—led by Ramadan Agab, Mohamed Abdel-Rahman, Mustafa Karshoum, Walieldin Khidir, Abdel-Rahman Koko, Ammar Taifour, and Mohamed Eisa—alongside new players active in leagues abroad.
The technical staff, led by Ghanaian coach Kwesi Appiah, is preparing to select the players best suited to represent Sudan during the qualifying campaign.
