PM Travels to Khartoum by Land, Debriefed on Developments in River Nile State

The Sudanese Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, traveled to Khartoum State from Port Sudan by land on Saturday, discharging his duties in the capital.
At the entrance to River Nile State, he was received by Dr. Muhammad Al-Badawi, the state governor, and members of the security committee, who welcomed him. The governor provided a comprehensive briefing on the overall performance of the state and the plans being implemented to ensure that the citizens of River Nile State enjoy access to services, leading to the state’s development and progress.
For his part, Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris praised the economic boom witnessed in River Nile State in the areas of economy, investment, and all other sectors. He announced his support for the “Made in River Nile” forum, set to take place there at the end of this month.
Idris commended the steps taken by the state to attract investment and streamline procedures, expressing his appreciation for the efforts of the River Nile State government and the state security committee in various fields and for the stability of the situation in the state.
The Prime Minister commended the state government’s initiatives in ensuring the continuation of education in the country, its role in sheltering displaced persons from war-affected states, and its efforts in supporting the war effort.
He praised the ongoing development and service projects funded by the state’s own resources despite the challenging circumstances facing the country, affirming that the nation is progressing in all areas and would soon enjoy stability and complete security thanks to efforts of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), their supporting forces.
