Omani Foreign Minister Burhan – Sultan Haitham Meeting as “Uniting Hearts Before Interests”

The Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi has described the meeting between Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignt Council, as a meeting that “united hearts before interests and reflected the deep-rooted relations and mutual respect between the two brotherly peoples.”
In a tweet on his X account, commenting on the news of the meeting published on the Omani Foreign Ministry’s account, the Omani minister added that the meeting “embodied shared solidarity for the good of both countries and came to achieve further benefits and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and fruitful cooperation. It also emphasized the higher interests of the brotherly Sudanese people in achieving peace, security, prosperity, and harmony for all.”
The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council concluded his first official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday. He was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Director General of the General Intelligence Service. During the visit, they discussed a number of issues, including establishing peace and stability in Sudan.
