Mujahid noted that it enhances the value of national resources and contributes to building a modern and reliable database.

Mujahid highlighted the importance of the Authority’s offices spreading across the states, as it represents a real strength and provides extensive opportunities to link field information to the center and develop a decentralized work system.

He emphasized that the Authority’s move toward digitization and its adoption of modern exploration technologies such as drones reflects an advanced awareness of the importance of technological transformation and innovation in resource management.

Bilal pointed to the vital role of the General Authority for Geological Research in the mining industry in Sudan, as it represents the national geological memory and the source of technical information upon which development decisions and strategic planning in the minerals sector are based.

He explained that the organization withstood direct targeting attempts in the early days of the war, pulled together with remarkable speed, and was able to reunite its members and resume its vital role with a high professional and patriotic spirit
