Misr El Kheir Foundation has awarded one of its Institutional Excellence Awards this year to the Sudanese Relief Association for Supporting Those Affected by Wars and Disasters.

The award recognizes the association’s success in reaching the final list of the top three leading organizations in implementing quality standards and administrative and field excellence.

Professor Suhad Sharif Al-Nour, Public Relations Officer at the Sudanese Relief Association, told Sudanhorizon that this recognition reflects efficiency and humanitarianism. She added that the award acknowledges the exceptional role played by the Sudanese Relief Association in providing relief aid and development programs to Sudanese refugees affected by the war, while strictly adhering to the highest standards of transparency and corporate governance.

Suhad further stated that the association was subjected to rigorous assessment by Misr El Kheir expert committee, which included a review of administrative performance, measurement of community impact, and assessment of the sustainability of implemented projects.

Misr El Kheir praised Esnad’s ability to operate in complex environments, highlighting its rapid response capabilities that enabled it to reach its target beneficiaries. The organization also commended Esnad’s reliance on auditing systems that ensure every donation is directed to its intended recipient with maximum efficiency, and its use of digital transformation in managing beneficiary data and coordinating volunteer efforts.

Professor Amira El Fadel, President of the Association, stated that Esnad’s achievement of ranking among the top three organizations in institutional excellence is the fruit of the tireless work of a team that believes humanity is only truly fulfilled through excellence.

She added, “We dedicate this achievement to all our volunteers and partners, and we pledge to our community to continue developing our tools to always be the most efficient and credible source of assistance.”

The Institutional Excellence Award aims to motivate civil society organizations to raise their performance levels, and Esnad is considered a model to be emulated in balancing urgent relief work with robust institutional development.

It is worth noting that the Esnad Association is a non-profit organization specializing in relief and support for victims of wars and disasters. It operates through integrated programs encompassing food, psychosocial support, education, health, and training, and always strives to implement international standards in humanitarian work.
