Mirghani Condemns Militia Attacks on Mustariha

The Democratic Bloc condemned on Tuesday the Rapid Support Forces militia’s attacks on Mustariha area in North Darfur State, which resulted in death, destruction, and devastation inflicted on unarmed civilians.
The Bloc also strongly condemned the attempts to assassinate Sheikh Musa Hilal, leader of the Mahamid tribe, especially given his position as head of one of its key constituent groups.
The Democratic Bloc, through its leader Gaafar al-Mirghani, affirmed it categorically rejects any armed practices of a racist nature that threaten the security of communities or target political and social leaders and groups, as this will have serious repercussions on social peace and national stability.
Al-Mirghani offered his condolences to the families of the victims, renewing the pledge to honor their sacrifices through tireless efforts towards peace and the preservation of national unity.
