Ministry of Finance Relocates to its Head-office in Khartoum Headquarters

Khartoum – Sudanhorizon

The Federal Ministry of Finance has resumed its operations from within Khartoum State following a relocation to Port Sudan because of the war that spurred the government to move all executive offices to Port Sudan.

The ministry’s return coincides with the return of other federal ministries to Khartoum. The government’s plan includes rehabilitating infrastructure and providing essential services to citizens.

Among those bidding farewell to the returning employees from Port Sudan was Mohammed Bashar, Undersecretary of Planning at the ministry, who affirmed that the ministry is working to rehabilitate infrastructure and create a conducive environment for citizens to return to their home regions.

The ministry continues its efforts to cover the costs of preparing a suitable environment for the return of citizens and government officials to Khartoum State and to provide all necessary basic services, including healthcare, sanitation, drinking water, education, electricity, and the rehabilitation of main roads and bridges.
