Al-Burhan Explains to a Visiting Media Delegation the Dimensions of the Conspiracy Against Sudan and its People
On Thursday, in Port Sudan, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, president of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, received a delegation that included Sudanese and Arab media professionals.
Al-Burhan praised the support of the media professionals for the armed forces and their support in the battle for national dignity, noting that they harness their pens to serve and support the issues of their homeland and their support of the issues of the homeland that faces great challenges in its security and stability, according to what was stated in a statement published by the media of the Transitional Sovereignty Council.
Al-Burhan provided a briefing on the overall situation in the country against the backdrop of the rebellion led by the terrorist Rapid Support militia against the state and its institutions.
He referred to the racist sentiments introduced by the militia in its war against the people, stressing that what this militia is practising is alien to the values, morals and legacies of the Sudanese people, praising the tremendous public rally around the armed forces.
For his part, Mr. Diaa El-Din Bilal, a delegation member, said in a press statement that their delegation includes several Sudanese and Arab journalists.
Diaa stated that this visit aims to find out the reality of the situation on the ground and added that the delegation visited the front lines in Omdurman as well as the Nile River State, where it held several meetings, indicating that the meeting with the President of the Sovereignty Council was fruitful and vital, as a lot of information was obtained in it by the visiting media delegation about the nature of the battle, especially since it is an existential battle targeting the existence of the Sudanese state with all its components.
He added that many opinions and ideas were exchanged during the meeting, and the need to support the army to play its role in protecting the Sudanese state from these dangers was emphasised.
Professor Diaa El-Din explained that there is a major aggression against Sudan that requires the cooperation of all military, civil, and security sectors, considering that this danger targets the country’s security and stability.
He stated that the media sector bears a great burden in confronting this major conspiracy led by the rebel militia against the state and its institutions, with regional and international help and support.
He would salute the Sudanese people for their steadfastness and patience in confronting this conspiracy.
