Ministry of Finance and Savings Bank Sign Service Contract

The Sudanese Ministry of Finance signed on Tuesday a legal contract with the Savings and Social Development Bank, enabling the ministry to electronically collect fees for government services and transactions, in accordance with internationally recognized technical standards in the financial and banking sector, and in line with the policies and regulations of the Central Bank of Sudan (CBS).
The signing ceremony was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Abdullah Ibrahim, representatives of the ministry’s general departments, and the legal advisor.
The contract was signed by Mustafa Ali Yusuf, Director of the Audit Bureau, on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, and by Abdul Rahman Ali Adam, Deputy Director General, on behalf of the Savings and Social Development Bank.
The Deputy Director General praised the step taken, describing it as an important move in the digital transformation process that serves the state’s objectives. This will be achieved by expanding banking services to better serve citizens and productive sectors, strengthening the digital economy, and building an integrated system through partnerships with the country’s technological and banking institutions.
