Minister of Youth and Sports Congratulates National Team

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Ahmed Adam, has extended his warm congratulations to the Sudanese people, the Sudan Football Association, and the players of the national team on Sudan’s qualification for the Arab Cup group stage, held in the Qatari capital, Doha, following their thrilling victory over Lebanon despite being reduced to ten men.
The minister affirmed that this achievement reflects the determination, fighting spirit, and great dedication shown by the players, the coaching staff, and the leadership of the Sudan Football Association. He noted that qualifying for the Arab Cup represents an important step towards strengthening Sudan’s football standing at both regional and international levels.
Professor Ahmed Adam also called on Sudanese fans in the diaspora to continue supporting and encouraging the national team throughout its journey in the tournament, expressing his hope that the players will continue to deliver honourable performances and raise Sudan’s name high in all arenas.
