Minister of Livestock : Smart Application to Combat Corruption and Bureaucracy in hia Ministry

The Minister of Livestock, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tijani Al-Mansouri, has announced the development of a smart application for all transactions related to his ministry aimed at combating corruption and bureaucracy.
Speaking at the Sudan News Agency forum on Wednesday, the Minister revealed an executive strategy for the livestock and fisheries sector to be implemented over five years.
Al-Mansouri stated that his ministry’s strategy is based on achieving self-sufficiency and reducing prices.
He emphasized their desire to establish a livestock production city in each of Sudan’s states, noting the establishment of three business councils with Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Kuwait, whose countries have expressed interest in investing in Sudan.
The minister revealed that Sudan possesses approximately 140 million head of livestock, according to the latest statistics.
Livestock in Sudan is considered one of the most important sources of foreign currency due to the large exports of livestock and cattle, generating an average annual revenue of one billion dollars, according to government statistics.
