Mauritanian Football Association Agrees to Postpone Al-Merreikh Matches in Premier League

Nouakchott – Sudanhorizon

The Competitions Committee of the Mauritanian Football Association has approved Al-Merreikh of Sudan’s request to postpone its matches in the next three rounds (5-6-7) of the Premier League. Al Merreikh pleaded that 12 players have been invited to join the Sudanese national football team participating in the local championship qualifiers.

On the other hand, the Al Hilal team has decided to continue in the competition and requests no postponement.

The technical director of the Sudanese national team, Ghanaian James Kwesi Appiah, summoned (19) players from the Sudanese summit to face Tanzania tomorrow, Sunday, in Nouakchott, including (7) Al Hilal players.

The Sudanese Al Hilal lead the Mauritanian Premier League with 10 points in its coffer.
