Khartoum Sports Festival launched

Lt. Gen. Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Head of the Higher Committee for Preparing the Environment for the Return to Khartoum State, has inaugurated the Khartoum Sports Festival at the Sudanese Scouts House in Khartoum.

Present at the opening ceremony were Federal Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ahmed Adam Ahmed, the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, and a numerous athletes.

The festival included cycling races, a cross-country race for both genders, athletics events, Yoshi Kung Fu, karate, water sports, and various scout demonstrations, with the participation of several sports teams, clubs, and youth clubs.
