Khartoum is 100% Safe, Says Sovereign Council Official

Member of the Sovereign Council and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), LT Gen.Ibrahim Jaber has stressed that the committee preparing the environment for the return of people to their homes in Khartoum was progressing steadily in discharging its mission
Gen Jaber has confirmed that Khartoum is now 100% secure and that the committee is resolutely moving forward in generating electricity and preparing transmission lines. He indicated that the distribution process will be completed soon with the arrival of transformers. He highlighted the significant efforts in the areas of water, education, and basic health services.
In his address before the “Youth Opportunities in Financing for the Reconstruction of Khartoum State” workshop, Jaber announced that he would cover the cost of sending four of the youth participating in the workshop to South Asia to learn about pioneering experiences in managing small and medium-sized enterprises.
He directed employees of banks, financial institutions, associations, and all banks to open microfinance windows to benefit from frozen balances and the significant profits generated through networking.
The Sovereign Council member pointed out that the committee is working to support youth and graduates sector to be able to cope with the situation created by the material and moral damage caused by the war, which requires these groups to adhere to national values and enhance their intellectual capabilities to lead the process of rehabilitation and reconstruction.
