National Team Leaves for Morocco
Dar es Salaam – Sudan Horizon
The Sudanese National Football team left Julius Nyerere Airport in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, heading for Douala Airport in Cameroon on its way to Morocco, on board the private plane of Badr Airlines, chartered by the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
The team will be staying in a preparatory camp in the city of Rabat in getting ready for its match against Niger’s squad in the penultimate round of Group Six of the African Nations qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The team left with all the stars of the national team and the administrative and technical staff, and they will be joined later by stars playing in foreign leagues according to their clubs’ programs. The Niger national team had initially chosen Togo as venue for its match against the Sudanese national squad on November 14.
It is worth noting that the plane chartered by President Al-Burhan had transported the national team delegation from Mauritania to Dar es Salaam and provided the team with the comfort required, and contributed to the victory achieved yesterday and reaching the second round of the CHAN qualifiers
