Kabashi: Foreign Policy Must Lead to End the Rebellion

Transitional Sovereignty Council member and Deputy Commander-in-Chief General Shams El-Din Kabashi instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen its role in supporting military action and achieving the goals of ending the rebellion and restoring stability in Sudan.
He promised, during his meeting today, on Thursday, with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Ali Youssef, his unlimited support for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to carry out its duty towards cultivating foreign policy to inform the international community and foreign public opinion of the reality of what is happening in Sudan as a result of the terrorist militia’s rebellion and its targeting of citizens and the country’s capabilities.
For his part, Ambassador Ali Youssef explained that his meeting with the member of the Sovereignty Council, who supervises the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was fruitful and successful and addressed various national issues related to the security and safety of citizens and their return to their homes, in addition to the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Sudanese diplomacy in supporting the battle of dignity.
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is in charge, began his in-office duties yesterday at the Ministry’s temporary headquarters in Port Sudan and met with the Ministry’s employees who are working from there.
