Joint Forces Welcome the Integration of “Sudan Liberation Movement – Transitional Council”

The Joint Forces of Armed Struggle Movements have welcomed the integration of the “Sudan Liberation Movement – Transitional Council,” led by General Salah Rassas, a member of the Sovereignty Council, into their ranks.
In a statement by the Joint Forces’ official spokesperson, Major Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, obtained by the Sudanhorizon news site, this move was described as “a strategic step to strengthen the national resistance and unify military and political efforts to liberate Sudan from the grip of criminal militias, enemies of the nation, and external aggression orchestrated with internal collaborators.”
The statement praised General Salah Rassas and his team’s leadership and highlighted the legacy of the Sudan Liberation Movement—Transitional Council and its brave fighters, calling them “a qualitative addition to the Joint Forces and the national cause.”
It further emphasized that this integration aims to enhance the unity of Sudan’s national resistance against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and all forms of mercenary aggression threatening the country’s sovereignty. The statement noted that the inclusion of the Sudan Liberation Movement – Transitional Council “boosts our ability to achieve strategic victories that serve the cause of our people in reclaiming national sovereignty, justice, and dignity for all Sudanese.”
The statement concluded:
“We are confident that this alliance will strengthen the national resistance and make it more organized in confronting the current challenges. Together, as the Joint Forces of Armed Struggle Movements and the Sudan Liberation Movement – Transitional Council, we pledge to our people to continue the struggle until achieving complete victory and restoring a free and independent Sudan.”
