Joint Forces Spokesman: Our Forces Are Resilient in Al Fashir, Inflicted Heavy Losses on Enemy

The official spokesman for the Joint Forces of the Armed Struggle Movements, Colonel Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, has confirmed that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Joint Forces are steadfast in Al Fashir and are at the peak of thier readiness and highest morale.
Colonel Hussein told Sudanhorizon news website that after intense artillery shelling of Al Fashir neighborhoods and the Naivasha and Abu Shouk IDPs camps late Thursday evening, the militia launched a treacherous attack on the city from the northeastern axis.
He indicated that their valiant forces were fully prepared and dealt with the attack with valor and competence, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment on the enemy.
He explained that the attacking force was completely destroyed, and that a large number of its combat vehicles were burned.
He added that those who emerged from this battle returned as losers, “dragging the tails of defeat and humiliation”.
He pointed out that the Rapid Support Forces militias are still present in Zamzam IDPs camp, and that they were now involved in widespread looting of the homes of displaced people inside the camp.
