Port Sudan – Sudanhorizon
The Secretary-General of the National Investment Authority, Ahlam Madani Mahdi, announced the completion of network integration for investment transactions in cooperation with the national electronic platform “Baladna.”
In press statements on Monday, Ahlam commended the efforts of the “Baladna” platform team in enhancing the digital efficiency of institutions. She announced the launch of an online service for licensing investment projects through the General Administration for Comprehensive Services at the National Investment Authority via the platform.
She explained that the service will enable individual investors to submit applications for licensing their investment projects electronically, enter data, attach required documents, and track the status of their applications with ease. This, she noted, will contribute to accelerating procedures and improving institutional performance efficiency.
The Secretary-General also revealed the completion of full network linkage between the National Investment Authority and relevant investment-related entities, enhancing the delivery of better services. She described this step as important for improving the investment environment, adding that the completed integration will facilitate procedures and support efforts to attract more domestic and foreign investments to Sudan, as part of rebuilding what was damaged by the war.
