Human Rights Organization: Israel Has Actually Begun Its Plan to Completely Destroy Gaza City

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor confirmed in a statement on Monday that Israel has actually started implementing its plan to destroy Gaza City and impose its illegal military control over Gaza.

The Monitor has noted that the Israeli army is launching widespread bombing and destruction operations against residential areas in the south, east, and north of the city in a simultaneous attack that is sweeping towards its heart from three axes, with comprehensive destruction and systematic obliteration.

This military offensive is being carried out on the ground after the Israeli army officially announced the launch of Operation “Gideon Arms 2” on August 20 and the implementation of its “preliminary operations and initial stages.”

The statement described these developments as an escalation that constitutes a new phase in the ongoing crime of genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip for 23 months.

The Monitor noted that more than one million people are now living trapped in less than 30% of the city’s area, all threatened with forced displacement south as part of a plan aimed at “wiping out Gaza and subjecting it to systematic destruction and complete military control,” according to the statement.
