High Committee for Coordination with the UN Reaffirms Commitment to Facilitate Aid Flow

The High Committee for Coordination with the United Nations, chaired by Transitional Sovereignty Council member General Ibrahim Jaber, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating the flow of humanitarian aid through various checkpoints.

This commitment was reaffirmed during a meeting held on Saturday to review the committee’s efforts and focus on coordination with United Nations organizations and agencies. The meeting addressed all issues related to the protection of civilians.

In a press statement, Minister of Culture and Information Dr Graham Abdelkader stated that the committee is fulfilling sovereign duties, underscoring the government’s commitment to the smooth operation of checkpoints and airports and assessing the impact of facilitating transit movements.

Dr. Graham added that the meeting reaffirmed adherence to the Jeddah Forum’s outcomes and the importance of their implementation. It also discussed all necessary measures to ensure citizens’ safety and easy service access.
