Head of Peace Commission Discusses Strengthening Partnership with UNDP Resident Representative

The Head of the Peace Commission, Suleiman Al-Dabailo, met with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Luca Renda.
The meeting addressed the situation of Sudanese expatriates and the role the UNDP can play in this regard.
In a press statement, UNDP Resident Representative Luca Renda said that the meeting with the Head of the Peace Commission reflects the UN’s commitment to cooperation and coordination with relevant bodies.
He affirmed the Fund’s readiness to provide necessary services related to supporting peace and promoting peaceful coexistence among communities in Sudan, in addition to supporting peace efforts and projects submitted by the Peace Commission. Both parties affirmed the strength of their existing partnership.
