Informed Government sources have denied reports circulating in some media outlets regarding Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris’s departure to London in anger, and that there was a strong inclination to dismiss him.
The sources confirmed that this information was unfounded true and that there was no intention to make a government change at the present time.
In a related development, the Prime Minister inspected Port Sudan Airport today (Monday) on his way back to Khartoum, according to a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.
Kamil Idris reviewed the level of implementation of directives he had previously issued during his earlier visit, concerning the development of all services at Port Sudan Airport to facilitate the movement of people and provide better services. He also reviewed the progress of work and the implementation of reform and development plans at Port Sudan Airport.
The Prime Minister directed that the deficiencies be completed, stressing the government’s readiness to develop Port Sudan Airport to the level of international airports.
