FM: Fake Government Won’t be Recognised by Neighbours

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it has condemned in the strongest terms the actions of the terrorist Rapid Support Forces militia and its political allies in announcing a fake government and claiming to distribute government positions to govern Sudan, in total disregard for the suffering of the Sudanese people, who have been subjected to all types of violence, abuse, and torture by the terrorist militia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement issued today (Sunday) that the militia’s announcement of its fake government on social media is the clearest evidence of its defeat and defeat at the hands of our valiant armed forces, with all their formations and military organizations.

The statement received by Sudanhorizon the ministry has added that the participation of civilian components in this fake announcement reveals the true face of these alliances and confirms their involvement in the conspiracy that being hatched in full coordination with the terrorist militia to seize power by force on the morning of mid-April 2023.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Sudanese government’s deep concern over Kenya’s approval and the enabling of the rebel militias to hold their preparatory meetings to announce the said entity government.

The illegal declaration in Nairobi constitutes a clear violation of Sudan’s sovereignty and the principle of non-interference in its domestic affairs.

It also contradicts the principles and charters of the United Nations, the African Union, and IGAD, which support Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity.

The statement said the Government of Sudan urge all neighboring countries, the international community, regional and international organizations, all governmental bodies, and other organizations to condemn this declaration, and call on them not to recognize or deal with this illegitimate organization declared by the terrorist militias.

It also noted that accepting this declaration in any shape would constitute an assault on the Government of Sudan and its sovereignty over all its territories, and constitutes a flagrant violation of the rights and capabilities of the Sudanese people.
