EU Special Envoy Expected in Port Sudan Today

The EU Special Envoy, Anita Weber, is scheduled to visit Port Sudan today (Sunday).

Ambassador Abd al-Baqi Kabeer, Sudan’s Ambassador to Belgium and its Permanent Representative to the European Union, told the eSudanhorizon news site in an exclusive statement that the Special Representative’s program includes meetings with several officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Sovereign Council, and other parties.

The European Special Envoy’s visit to Sudan is part of a regional tour during which she will discuss the Sudanese file and other regional matters.
