Darfur Governor: Armed and Joint Forces Engaged in Battles in Malha

The Governor of the Darfur region in western Sudan, Mini Arko Minawi, announced that the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Joint Forces of armed struggle movements are engaged in battles with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the Malha area of North Darfur State.
In a statement reviewed by Sudanhorion, Minawi said: “At this historic moment, the heroes of our Armed Forces, the Joint Forces, and the Popular Resistance are waging fierce battles near the city of Malha in North Darfur State.”
He added: “They stand firm and courageously to defend the land, honour, dignity, and freedom, proving that determination and willpower are invincible.”
